The Philippines is much more that it seems, much more than people give credit for, much more than what now is. It’s not an American territory or Spanish colony. It’s more than that. The Philippine Islands, has it’s own history and heritage that is nearly forgotten by the hundreds of years of Spanish conquest and American control. There’s a reason why some Filipinos doesn’t like the Spanish and American eras because these eras only reflect the history behind us. On this article I would like to let all Filipinos around the world to know about the hidden truth ot the Philippines. This is not my own, my sources will be published below.
In ancient times, the Philippines was the most southern point of Asia. Visaya was connected to main land Asia to the Malakas straight and trade with the Thai and other people surround them. The rest of Indonesia was not considered Asia and once you get to the most western islands of the region you have specific culture and language. A good example is Papua New Guenie. So in many prospects the Philippines is the edge of Asia and it is the national melting point of Asia. All people in Asia would gather in the Philippine region due to its natural sea faring roots, peoples from China, Korea, Japan, Sian, India and even southern middle eastern countries have evidence of being in the Philippines. This is why some people do not get the stereo typical Asian look live in the Philippines and are true Filipino.
In modern times, Malaysia and Indonesia are considered to be met as well but these are fake, artificial European colonies which forced culture together. The Philippines meaning a natural and mixing of the people in faiths.
Islam was first introduced to Southeast Asia through the Malakas straight and spread throughout the region and into the Southern Philippines. But the Spanish put a strict cult to the Islamization of the Philippines. The Spanish knew what it was like to deal with slam. Spain itself was under an Islamic counterfeit, the Moros, the Conquistas, happened only a few centuries before, and they didn’t want to deal with one of their colonies which brings us a question: Why did the Spanish take the Philippines at all?

Thinking they belong to Asia when that is not the case! Colonial era is already part of Philippine history! and no matter what, history will never change! European cultures is already passed to Philippines and you cannot forced it not to. Colonial history is the only part of history that has a direct contact with the pre-colonial era as it is the sequel of the story,… if the rejection of colonial evidence(demolishing many heritage cities instead of rebuilding a replicating it) still continues, even history of colonization might even be rejected as a myth and this is very possible. At the end of March this year, I discovered blood on the toilet papper after urinating. I was just not so alarm because I thought it was temporary. i called the hospital and I was told that I should go for a check up on monday after calling but I didn’t call again since I haven’t had that much bleeding, only on the paper. As days went by, the bleeding became worse but since I was scheduled to fly to the Asia on April 5, I just let it be. I can go for a check up after coming home.
So on May 4, a day after arriving, I went immediately to the hospital. I had a routine check up, blood test and urine test, even several times after. On May 17 I was remitted to the urology ward and found out that I have radiation damages in the bladder, so I will be remitted for an operation sooner.
So today June 13, I went to the hospital for an operation. the taxi picked me up at 11:20 in the morning and came t9 the hospital quite bit early. I’ve waited for the receptionist to come back after lunch and at exactly 12:20 I was admitted. Some minutes later a nurse fetched me and I was given hospital clothes to be used on the operation.
As a routine, the nurses prepared me with needles, one in each hand to be sure, asked questions and informed be about the procesure. When everything was ready, they brought me to the operating room. First I was given drops, and then oxygen while the other nurses, possitoned me to be comfortable during the operation, 2 men and 2 women nurses assisted me. Then I was given an injection throgh the prepared needle/pipe/pipe on one of my hands and after only seconds I fell asleep.
I woke up at 3 PM with discomfort, tired and feeling like pee and I told the nurse but she said I had catheter so it’s ok. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t sleep anymore s9 I just closed my eyes and rested while I was monitored. I got a visit from the doctor who operated me and said the operation was a success and hopefully I will get better but will feel discomfort on peeing 2-3 days from now and the scab after burning the damages shall fall off after 2 weeks, I must drink a lot of water so it won’t be too uncomfortable to fkash it out when they fall out. If this procedure won’t make my wounds be cured, I may go to a hyperbaric treatment again like I did with my radiation damages in my thick intestine like ladt fall. I felt well taken cared of by 3 nurses who always asked how I feel.
At 5:30 PM the catheter is removed and I was given 3 sandwiches, coffee and juice. it was really delicious after fasting for 24 hrs now. I went to pee after that with a terrible pain but it was nice to flash out everything.
I was monitored until 7:00 PM and finally changed into my usual clothes and soon released from the hospital. My taxi picked me up at 7:35 and at home at 8. Now lying in bed in my night dress and ready to fall asleep!
Update:
In 3-5 days after the operation, I had very difficulty to hold my urine and at the same time it hurts so much at the last drops that almost faint, but the best thing is no blood in the urine anymore.

About a month now after my operation, I discovered blood in the urine, not much though, only drops after the last drop of urine. I still have pain but it’s not so much anymore that I can bear it. But today July 15th, my urine is clear, no blood.

Tomorrow I am scheduled to have an operation in the thorax region.
I left home today, thursday. The taxi came and pick me up at about 6:00 AM. It is a long way to the hospital so I have to sleep for a while.

I arrive at the hospital at 9:am. I was admitted by a nurse. i submitted my health declaration and medicine list. After a while the surgeon came and we talked at his office. He told me about the procedures of the operation and he showed me also a picture of the tumor which they are going to remove.
Another nurse came to talk to me also and I have answered some questions she had.
Then a physiotherapist talked to me and informed me about things I have to do after the operation. To train the lungs and some movements and activities I have to take to recover fast.
Another step is to talk to the anesthetist. He explained to me about the anesthetic procedure that I have to take before the operation tomorrow.
Finally the enrollment was finished at around 12:00 PM and a nurse came to tell I can go for a walk because my room will be ready at 3:00 PM.
At 3:00 PM I was given a room together with an old lady.
I was given a lock for my dear belongings, a closet and a table with every modern hospitals have. I feel lucky to be treated in this country where I don’t need to pay anything. A free major surgery I must say and at least I know where my tax money is being used.
I was very good taken cared of all the nurse on duties that night. Every thing was check, my blood pressure, blood count, pulse etc.
I took a shower twice using disinfectant soaps twice everyttime and with 5 hours interval. I got new hospital shirts and pants evertime I took a shower.
The next day, I was waken up by the nurses, gave me new shirts and disinfectant to use in the shower. I had to do it twice so the skin will be very clean to protect me from infections.
Exactly 7:35 AM I was driven with my hospital bed to the operating room on the ground floor. The nurses was waiting for me and greeted me so happily. It was like a princess arrival. I felt safe and comfortable. They were around 5 nurses including the anesthetist. After he had given anethesia, I don’t remember anything else. I woke up at around 10:20 AM Waited some minutes to really wake up and drove me again back to my room with many tubes around me. Morfin for the pain in the wound, dextrose, drenage to drain the wound, cateter for the urine since I am still paralized from breast down to the buttom.
At first I was not aware how long they have cut me but I saw later that it was about 20 cm from below my right breast backwards.
I just felt the pain from the wound the day after. I don’t know maybe they sank my dose of morfin. I have taken a lot of medicines. I almost painted when I went to the toilet just about to brush my teeth, so the nurse took me back to the bed immediately took my blood pressure which is very low. They gave me injections and medicine for neusea. I had to do x-ray of my lungs too and the x-ray men came to me instead.
The next day, february 3, after eating breakfast, I was still not feeling well, I am dizzy and feel sick, the nurse gave me a medicine for that and they drove me to the x-ray room on the first floor. I thought I could do it but still felt sick and dizzy. They didn’t handle me very well there, They mishandled me, they didn’t consider that i might have pain.
About 12:30 PM, the doctor came and took out the drenage because I don’t need it anymore. It was about a 12 mm hole after the drenage and she closed it with a tread which was already sewn in there after during the operation. It stings a little but now it’s gone.
February 9, I was moved to another hospital near our place. Before they let me go the nurse removed half of the stitches, a total of 13 pcs.
Now it’s february 14, Valentines day. I was just released from the hospital. I’m waiting for my taxi which my nurse booked for me. He is coming at 1:45 PM, some minutes more.
Arrived home at 2:30 PM…home sweet home! In my own bed at last! Been away for 15 days.

I bought this ring from Jeulia. At first, I thought I was fooled, it took a bit long time that I almost forgot I ordered this but finally I got it now. It’s beautiful but it you can see immediately that it’s a fake one. It’s a silver ring with a gold-plated middle ring. I love it though. I’ll come back with feedback after wearing it for a while.

Update: After wearing it in some months, the center ring tarnished specially under where it is only silver now. I sold it in auction and I got about 2.50 USD 😦
Idag ringde en kompis till mig och vill åka förbi och ska laga 5-rätters middag till mig och min man. Ja det fick hon gärna komma. Jag äter ju inte så mycket pga mitt problem i tarmen, men jag är bara nyfiken för vad hon vill sälja. Hon skulle demonstrera Saladmaster produkter från USA. De skulle vara bra för hälsan pga att man inte behöver olja för att tillaga vissa maträtter.
De lagade mat som sagt och vi fick vara gäster i vårt eget hus. Lättlurade som jag, kan man också tillägga, blev mycket förtjust i produkterna men min man var lite skeptisk. Efter vi hade ätit färdigt så hade de mycket bråttom till ett annat ställe så jag kunde inte riktigt bestämma mig vilket set jag skulle köpa men visst ska jag köpa lite till att börja med. Synd bara att jag inte lagar så mycket mat just nu när jag inte kan äta ordentligt.

Jag drömde om den Filippinska megastjärnan Sharon Cuneta idag. I drömmen var jag kompis med hennes dotter (inte hennes verkliga dotter i det verkliga livet). Jag är tvungen att anteckna detta för att jag är så glömskt, jag kommer nog inte ihåg denna efter några dagar. Det var så verkligt!

Jag tyckte om henne när jag var ung, vi är ungefär lika gamla, jag är bara några månader äldre. Hon blev stjärna när hon var 12 år, senare 70-talet. Jag tycker om hennes musik än idag och brukar sjunga dem. Jag fick min första karaoke maskin av min man 1990 och då spelade jag in många av hennes populära låtar som jag hade lyckats att digitalisera från cassette band, det är därför lite brusigt och vissa oljud.
